The main responsibilities in this role include copywriting for a variety of outputs as well as assisting with the production of advertisements, brochures, catalogues, posters, banners, retail and trade product packaging, point-of-sale material and a host of other communications for various media. There will also be technical writing requirements for product instructional documents. Your visual creativity will be brought to the fore through desktop publishing and photography, as well as graphics coordination. Briefing, negotiating and liaising with suppliers to ensure production of materials meets quality, price, technical and deadline requirements will form an integral aspect of your role, as will a range of other general promotional and public relations activities.

Skilled in the development of various marketing driven communications, you are passionate about your writing craft and have the versatility of being able to apply your skills across a range of materials and media. You understand the principle of pitching to your audience. A capable desktop publisher, you are familiar with Apple Mac compatible programs such as PageMaker, PhotoShop, Illustrator, Acrobat/PDF, Dreamweaver/Flash etc. The ability to work with digital photography would be a bonus.

Required Experience:
2+ years in technical writing role.
