Exercise 1:

Write the script for a short movie titled "Learner Driver" showing the perils, pitfalls and pleasures of learning to drive a motor vehicle.

This exercise requires the use of lateral thinking and personal experience. If you've never attempted to learn to drive a motor vehicle, you'll be in no position to write about it. Guessing things like what it may feel like, or what you think it may be like, is no substitute for the actual experience of being there. If you have had no experience in this field, please select a different exercise.

The process of writing a film script first involves the primary script outline which identifies
